Fitna – So he did it
So he did it. Geert Wilders did publice the movie, although it didn’t stay on the web very long. I am really happy by the lack of turmoil that the movie has given (so far). I hope it will stay that way.
I didn’t have the chance to see the movie, but I saw some pictures [...]

Brother Andrew again
This Easter Weekend I finished reading Brother Andrew’s book Light Force (in Dutch: “Een Leger van Licht”).
It’s an impressive book on Andrew’s visits to the Middle East and especially the Palestinian people. If there’s one book I could recommend everyone to read, it’s this one. It even kept me from sleeping one night, not because [...]

My immortal
Here’s a videoclip taken from the movie “The Passion of the Christ”. The song is titled “My Immortal”, by the band Evanescence. It’s one of my favorite songs.

Fitna – the movie
Somewhere between now and April 1st Dutch politician Geert Wilders will put his movie “Fitna” on the internet. As much as I want to see if all the fuzz that has been going for months was really worth it, I am not looking forward to it.
I’m afraid of fights, schools, churches and mosks being burnt down. [...]

Worries
Every day after dinner we read a small piece from the Bible. Today we read the following from the sermon on the mount:
Matthew6:25: I tell you not to worry about your life. Don’t worry about having something to eat, drink, or wear. Isn’t life more than food or clothing? 26 Look at the birds in [...]

Father and Friend
Today in church a music video was shown of a duet sung by Dutch singer Alain Clark and his father. It’s a very moving song about the love between a father and a son.
I want to show you this song as a tribute to my own father. Dad, I love you and I am proud of you!

Three strikes act
Lately my friend P. read a book written by former Dutch reporter in the USA, Max Westerman. He writes this: We thought this doesn’t happen in a democracy. Just untill we read the book of the dutch reporter Max Westerman. He is astonished about the cruelty of the three strikes law in
California . This law was [...]

Wrestling
Reading Brother Andrew’s book makes me realise how easy it is for us in the West (Europe and America) to believe in God. We’re not persecuted for it. The only thing is that sometimes we get remarks from others about our faith.
It also makes me wrestling with a lot of things. Brother Andrew writes that [...]
